It's modern football & something that happens at nearly all clubs these days.
He's within his rights , but of course I'd rather he stay & or if not then get a fee for him, but hey-ho it's modern football.
In essence that's why I have little empathy/loyalty with any player these days. They all come & go quite quickly with very few exceptions.
Cheer them in a WH shirt & give them dogs abuse when wearing other colours.

When are people going to realise that some footballers just see it as a job? He has no connection to west ham other than working/playing for us. When his contract is up he's able to join who he likes. That's the deal.
I can't see the point in getting wound up if he joins spurs. Who fucking cares. I'm more interested in who we get to replace him.
